Andrew Mellinger's XL883 Heads

Andrew decided his '00 883 needed some more juice, so he sent the heads to HAMMER PERFORMANCE for our exclusive Smash CNC head porting service to be transformed into these beauties. Not only did the ports get reworked in our highly developed CNC process, but these heads also got fitted with 1.760/1.530 oversized stainless 7mm stem steel high flow valves, bronze manganese guides, and PAC Alloy endurance springs with titanium retainers. These heads will see duty sitting on top of a HAMMER PERFORMANCE bolt-on 1250 kit with flat top pistons and are being paired with a set of Screamin Eagle .575 lift cams. It's a proven combination that will more than double the power output of Andrew's 883 and make it feel like a totally different bike. Congrats Andrew!

That's why George chose the HAMMER PERFORMANCE Sledge CNC head porting service for his late model XL1200 heads! Not only did these heads get our highly developed CNC porting treatment, they also got the best hardware in the business, our 1.940/1.615 oversized stainless steel high flow valves, bronze manganese guides, and .650 lift chrome silicon springs with titanium retainers.
